Lonza's Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) are isolated from peripheral blood by apheresis and density gradient separation. They are guaranteed to contain ≥100 million viable cells per ampoule. Mononuclear cell (MNC) rich cells from leukapheresis are depleted of RBCs and platelets. MNC cell profilesdiffer by donors and can contain on average around50% T cells, 20% monocytes, 10% B cells, 10% NK cells and may contain up to 5% granulocytes . Cells are collected from healthy donors following IRB protocols. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. Benefits:Test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungiHIV-1, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lotsCertificate of Analysis (CoA) is provided for each cell lot purchasedApplications:ELISPOTProliferation assaysImmunogenicity assaysCell therapy process developmentHumanized miceBiomarker discovery
